Boxscore CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Madi Radnoff tallied her third goal of the season, but the Widener University field hockey team dropped a 2-1 final to the DeSales Bulldogs in non-conference action.
 
The game was a defensive battle, remaining scoreless through the first 58 minutes before the Bulldogs posted the first goal of the game on a penalty stroke. Five minutes later, a second penalty stroke goal for DeSales made it 2-0.
 
Widener got on the board with 53 seconds left as Radnoff found the back of the cage off a feed from Lexie Eberly.
 
The Pride returns to action on Saturday, September 29 when it hosts Alvernia in a MAC Commonwealth matchup. Game time is scheduled for noon.
