READING, Pa. – Kelly Lynch had three goals and two assists, but the Widener University women's lacrosse team was upended 16-6 by the Albright Lions on Wednesday evening.
 
BY THE NUMBERS

• With her five points, Lynch moves into second place on the Pride single season scoring list with 99. She needs five points to tie and six points to pass Tiffany Crowe for the highest season scoring output in program history.
• Caroline Kelley had two goal for Widener.
• Kaylee Horchak also scored for the Blue and Gold while Kristi Rohrer added an assist.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Pride stayed within striking distance early as two scores from Lynch sandwiched tallies from Kelley and Horchak, cutting the Lions lead to 7-4 with 8:17 to go in the first half.
• After Albright scored with a minute remaining in the opening frame, the Lions posted the first four of the second half.
• Widener netted two of the next three, but Albright closed the contest with the final three markers of the game.
