BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Widener University head football coach Mike Kelly has been named the East Coast Football Officials Association (ECFOA) Division III Coach of the Year as announced by the organization.
 
Each year the officials in the ECFOA select a coach who by his actions demonstrates the highest levels of sportsmanship. Kelly was noted for his and his players' interactions and sportsmanship when working with officials during Widener University football games, exemplifying the ideals of college athletics.
 
Kelly will be honored at the ECFOA Annual Clinic, held on the campus of West Chester University on Saturday, July 28.
