Boxscore FREDERICK, Md. – The Widener University women's soccer team picked up its second conference win of the season on Saturday afternoon, beating the Hood College Blazers 3-0

After a scoreless 30 minutes, the Pride struck first to take a 1-0 lead. Thanks to solid defensive play, Widener was able to take that advantage into the half. 15 seconds into half number two, Widener found the back of the net again. Less than 10 minutes later, the Blue and Gold scored its third and final goal, cementing the away victory. Hood College was held to only four shots throughout the match.
