CHESTER, Pa. - The Widener University women's soccer team ended its regular season on Saturday night, defeating the Stevenson Mustangs 1-0.

The seniors shined on Senior Day for the Pride. Brielle Errico placed a beautiful ball past the Mustang keeper from outside the box. Alyssa Dionisio set up the goal with a pass from the left side. One score was all WU needed to secure the victory. The Pride outshot Stevenson 22-10 throughout the night. The back line remained solid the entire match and Delaney Sabath notched five saves in the shutout performance.

Up next for Widener, the MAC Commonwealth Tournament. With the win, Widener locked up the #4 seed and will host Lebanon Valley on Monday, October 29. Opening tap is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
