Baseball Drops Doubleheader to Lebanon Valley

ANNVILLE, Pa. The first game was scoreless until the fourth inning when senior Justin Healey (Ocean City, N.J.) reached home on a throwing error to put the Pride ahead 1-0. Colin Albright then singled to center field to drive in a run for Lebanon Valley and tie the score. The Dutchmen went on to score four more runs that inning and pad their lead 5-1.

Healey homered out of left field to drive in two runs for the Pride and cut the deficit down to two in the fifth frame, however, it was not enough to stop Lebanon Valley from earning the 5-3 victory.

Senior Justin Czupryna (Roxbury, N.J.) hit a sacrifice fly to advance Barnett in an attempt to come back, but it wasn't enough as the Dutchmen padded their lead with a run in the sixth to give them the 4-2 victory.

Senior Kyle McKelvy (Collegeville, Pa.) suffered the loss for the visitors. McKelvy pitched five innings, surrendered five hits, three runs, struck out two and issued three walks.
