Nicole Dorman led the Widener University women's volleyball team with 10 kills, but the Pride fell to the Arcadia Knights 3-0 in a MAC Commonwealth match on Thursday night.

In addition to Dorman's total,
Carly Histing swung down seven kills while
Natalie Winn and
Claire Kaufmann recorded five each.
Kelsey Lee topped the Blue and Gold with 16 digs and
Sydney Nichols had 24 assists.

Down early in the first set, Widener battled back, scoring four points in a row and five of six to pull to 18-16 before the Knights went on a run of their own to win the frame. In the second set, the Pride started off well before a 9-0 Arcadia run gave the Knights the lead for good in the set. The final stanza was a tight battle early. Tied at 9-9, Arcadia went on a spurt to go up 19-13 before the Blue and Gold fought back to 21-18.

The match concludes the 2017 for the Widener women's volleyball team.
