Boxscore CHESTER, Pa. (Oct. 15, 2016) - The Widener University volleyball team fell to Neumann by a 3-1 score on Saturday morning at the Schwartz Center. Set scores were 26-28, 14-25, 25-13 and 23-25.
Sophomore
Nicole Dorman (East Norriton, Pa.) led Widener with a double-double performance. She had 17 kills and 10 digs to go along with three blocks. Senior
Sabrina Barbieri (Glen Mills, Pa.) notched 44 assists and nine digs, while sophomore
Janie Kalinock (Ellicott City, Md.) contributed nine kills and seven blocks.
Neumann (13-13) was paced by Hayley Glah, who also finished the match with a double-double by registering 11 kills and 14 digs. Rachael Hoffman recorded 13 kills and hit at a .370 clip, and Carlee Herrin ended the matchwith 20 digs.
Widener (10-16) returns to Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action when it hosts Lycoming on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7:00 p.m.
