CHESTER, Pa. (Mar. 17, 2015) – The Widener baseball team took a two run lead into the top of the ninth inning but could not close out the game as they fell to Neumann, 12-9, on Tuesday afternoon.

The Pride fall to 5-4, while the Knights improve to 6-1 on the season.

Freshman center fielder Greg McDonough (Ambler, Pa.) doubled in third baseman Michael Elfreth (Washington Township, N.J.) in the bottom of the sixth inning to tie the game up at 7-7. McDonough would later come around to score on a ground out to third base Kyle Lowery (Norristown, Pa.).
