Widener's Commonwealth Conference basketball games against Messiah were postponed Wednesday due to the weather and have been re-scheduled for Thursday, January 23.
The women's game is at 6:00 pm and the men's contest is at 8:00 pm.
The women (10-5, 5-3 CC) enter with victories in four of their last five outings and are tied for fourth place with Messiah in the league. In the teams last meeting, Widener posted a 67-52 triumph in the NCAA Tournament's "Sweet 16."
The men (8-7, 2-6) enter a tilt against the 17th ranked team in the country. The Pride are first in the country in free throws made and attempted (338-for-505), seventh with a 10.0 rebounding margin per game and eighth with 88.9 points per contest.
