Boxscore
(box score)

Senior Jakub Valdner (Bratislava, Slovakia) made four saves, including a great stop in the first overtime to help Widener secure a 1-1 Commonwealth Conference draw with Lycoming at Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium.

Valdner made three saves in the second half, all in the first 20 minutes that included a great stop of Moises Lazo off a corner kick in the 59th minute. But his best came in the 93rd minute as he robbed Kevin Seymour of a point-blank shot that would have won it for the Warriors.

Widener took a 1-0 lead in the 76th minute. Lycoming was called for a push in the box that resulted in a penalty kick and sophomore Tori Remondelli (Point Pleasant, NJ) converted for his fifth goal of the season.

A sure Pride victory was snatched with 46 seconds left when Lazo made up for his miss, sending a 15-yard shot over Valdner and inside the right post for his third goal of the year.

Remondelli had two shots for the Pride (5-5-3, 0-1-2 CC), who have a result in three of their last four matches.

Lazo closed with three shots and Connor Keenan made one save over 106 minutes for the Warriors (6-4-2, 1-1-1).

Widener is home Wednesday against Hood, starting at 7:00 pm.
