Widener got a great overall performance and left Collegeville, PA with a 3-0 triumph (25-18, 25-13, 25-19) at Ursinus.

The Pride (1-4) had a firm grasp of the match in the second set, getting a sterling .381 hitting percentage that included nine kills and just one error. The Bears (3-2) in that set amassed a -.091 percentage with 10 errors.

Junior Maggie Greenberg (Meadowbrook, PA) had 26 assists, senior Meghan Spence (Havertown, PA) posted 23 kills and sophomore Kaitlin Schnalzer (Bethlehem, PA) recorded nine kills for the Pride.

Widener is home Thursday to open Commonwealth Conference play against Stevenson, starting at 7:00 pm.
