Volleyball Handed 3-1 Loss at Cabrini

Despite two double-doubles and three players getting double figures in kills, Widener was dealt a 3-1 setback (21-25, 23-25, 25-17, 18-25) by Cabrini in Radnor, PA.

Senior Angela DiMaria (Warrington, PA) had 11 kills and 11 digs with junior Maggie Greenberg (Meadowbrook, PA) amassing 38 assists and 10 digs. Sophomore Kaitlin Schnalzer (Bethlehem, PA) pounded a team-high 12 kills.

Senior Meghan Spence (Havertown, PA) notched 24 digs and sophomore Victoria Miller (West Chester, PA) added 12 for the Pride (4-8).

Cassidy Koenig had 42 assists and 12 digs, Jen Grenauer notched 12 kills with Michele Fitz and Megan Ryan each adding 11 for the Cavaliers (6-4).

Widener on Friday competes at the Knights Invitational in Aston, PA against Penn State Berks at 4:30 pm and Marymount at 8:30 pm.
