Volleyball Rolls to 3-0 Victory at Arcadia

Widener received great play from many and leveled its Commonwealth Conference record with a convincing 3-0 victory (25-16, 25-15, 25-16) at Arcadia in Glenside, PA.

Sophomore Kaitlin Schnalzer (Bethlehem, PA) finished with nine kills and just one error over 23 attacks, senior Shauna Phillips (Dallas, PA) had eight, two and 15 with junior Veronica Vizzard (Havertown, PA) adding six kills over 15 attacks with no errors.

Junior Maggie Greenberg (Meadowbrook, PA) dished 28 assists, Meghan Spence (Havertown, PA) notched 14 digs and fellow senior Angela DiMaria (Warrington, PA) added six kills and 15 digs for the Pride (4-7, 1-1 CC).

Arcadia fell to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the league.

Widener on Thursday visits Cabrini for a 7:00 pm match in Radnor, PA.
