No. 22 Football to Have its Game Saturday at Misericordia Televised

Saturday's Middle Atlantic Conference football game between 22nd-ranked Widener and Misericordia will be televised in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area.

In the first meeting between the schools, the game will be seen on the following stations in the area covered by My Network WQMY-TV. Broadcast time is 1:00 pm and kickoff is at 1:10 pm.

Widener (2-0, 1-0 MAC) is coming off a 41-6 victory Saturday at King's in which senior quarterback Chris Haupt (Bloomsburg, PA) and senior defensive end Chad Gravinese (Mullica Hill, NJ) each were named to the MAC Weekly Honor Roll. Haupt completed 15-of-29 passes for 205 yards and four touchdowns and Gravinese closed with 10 tackles, 4 1/2 tackles for a loss and 2 1/2 sacks.

Widener enters the game first in the nation with 15.0 tackles for a loss per game, tied for fourth with 6.0 sacks per contest and tied for fifth with 52.0 points per contest.
