Men’s Basketball Falls 84-61 To Albright

Widener traveled to Reading, PA tonight to take part in a men's and women's double header against Albright and was handed an 84-61 Commonwealth Conference loss in the second game of the evening.
 
By the end of the first half, Widener (1-5, 1-2 CC) was down 42-25. In the second half, when Albright (6-1. 2-1) scored another 42 points.  The Pride this time bucketed 36 points, but it wasn't enough to take the win from the Lions.
 
Widener as a whole shot 40 percent in from the floor and 50 percent from the line to go with 41 rebounds.  Rodney Brown (Lake Valley, NJ) and Dillon Fields (Medford, NJ) each led the team with 11 points.

Fields also had four of each assists and rebounds. Greg Lawson (Mount Holly, NJ) shot 4-of-6 from the floor and 2-for-3 at the line for 10 points. Rasheed Hines (Baltimore, MD) led the defense with seven rebounds and also added nine points.
 
The Pride return home for a men's and women's Commonwealth Conference doubleheader against Stevenson with the women beginning at 1:00 pm and the men playing afterwards at approximately 3:00 pm.
