Men's Soccer Handed 2-0 Loss by No. 4 Swarthmore

Widener faced a daunting challenge in fourth-ranked Swarthmore and was dealt a 2-0 road loss.

Kieran Reichert scored an unassisted goal in the 11th minute and Fabian Castro tallied in the 14th minute off a feed from Micah Rose.

Castro had five shots for the Garnet (4-0).

Sophomore Dan Price (Norristown, PA) made one save with junior DJ DiPaola (Havertown, PA) and sophomore Matt Parrotta (Torrington, CT) each taking one shot for the Pride (2-3).

Widener returns to the pitch Saturday at Neumann, beginning at 7:00 pm in Aston, PA.
