Widener rallied from two sets down for a 3-2 win (22-25, 11-25, 25-20, 26-24, 15-8) over Susquehanna before dropping a 3-0 contest (25-18, 25-16, 25-23) to Stevens at the Haverford Invitational in Haverford, PA.

Against Susquehanna, senior Danielle Wetling (Upper Darby, PA) pounded 13 kills and senior Devan Green (Monroe Center, IL) had 12.  Sophomore Jamie Ballew (Media, PA) ended with 35 assists and 15 digs, freshman Meghan Spence (Havertown, PA) posted 14 digs and both junior Erin Gravelle (Media, PA) and freshman Angela DiMaria (Warrington, PA) had 10 digs.

Versus Stevens, DiMaria closed with nine kills and no errors over 21 attacks for a .429 hitting percentage.  Ballew had 21 assists and Spence posted 10 digs for the Pride (2-1).

Widener on Saturday concludes play in the tournament against St. Mary's (MD) at 11:00 am and Frostburg State at 3:00 pm.
