Freshman Meghan Spence (Havertown, PA) recorded 35 digs for Widener, which dropped a 3-1 match (10-25, 23-25, 25-23, 18-25) to Catholic before a 3-1 victory (22-25, 25-20, 25-12, 25-20) over Neumann at the Blue Jay Classic in Elizabethtown, PA.

Against Catholic, Angela DiMaria (Warrington, PA) finished with 11 kills and fellow freshman Chelsea Hoeffler (Cranford, NJ) added nine.  Spence posted 16 digs for the Pride (13-7), who have won six of their last eight matches.

Versus Neumann, DiMaria closed with 16 kills and senior Devan Green (Monroe Center, IL) recorded 13.  Sophomore Jamie Ballew (Media, PA) registered 46 assists, and Spence and Hoeffler each notched 19 digs.

Widener on Wednesday travels to Williamsport, PA for a Commonwealth Conference match against Lycoming at 7:00 pm.
