(vs, Eastern) / (vs. Wesley)

Volleyball split two matches at the Blue Jay Classic in Elizabethtown, PA, suffering a 3-0 loss (25-8, 25-20, 25-16) to No. 23 Eastern before a 3-0 triumph (25-15, 25-14, 25-11) against Wesley.

Against Eastern, freshman Meghan Spence (Havertown, PA) had 14 digs and sophomore Jamie Ballew (Media, PA) notched 22 assists for the Pride (12-6).  Sophomore Alectra Edison (Lancaster, CA) notched seven kills, freshman Angela DiMaria (Warrington, PA) had six and senior Danielle Wetling (Upper Darby, PA) posted five.

Versus Wesley, Ballew totaled 15 assists and Spence recorded 15 digs.  Wetling finished with 12 kills, senior Devan Green (Monroe Center, IL) had 10 and freshman Jennifer Mastantoni (Horsham, PA) notched 13 assists.

Widener on Saturday plays Catholic at noon and will compete in bracket play at either 2:30 pm or 4:30 pm.
