Widener notched a 3-2 victory (25-17, 24-26, 19-25, 25-21, 15-8) over RIT and a 3-0 triumph (25-11, 25-20, 25-20) over Brockport in the Bomber Invitational at Ithaca before a 3-1 loss (25-20, 28-30, 23-25, 15-25) in the final to the home team.

Against RIT, sophomore Jamie Ballew (Media, PA) posted 40 assists and 13 digs, freshman Meghan Spence (Havertown, PA) recorded 18 digs, freshman Angela DiMaria (Warrington, PA) notched 13 digs and senior Devan Green (Monroe Center, IL) finished with 10 kills.

Against Brockport, Ballew finished with 23 assists and 9 digs, Spence posted 19 digs, and freshman Chelsea Hoeffler (Cranford, NJ) recorded 11 digs.

In the championship match against Ithaca, Ballew notched 46 assists and 10 digs, Spence recorded 24 digs, senior Danielle Wetling (Upper Darby, PA) closed with 16 kills, DiMaria added 13 kills and Green finished with 13 kills.

Ballew and Green both were named to the all-tournament team.

Widener (7-4) travels to Elizabethtown for a 7:00 pm start on Wednesday.
