(vs. Oneonta State) / (vs. St. John Fisher)

Widener opened play at the Bomber Invitational in Ithaca, NY with a 3-0 victory (25-20, 25-22, 25-14) over Oneonta State before a 3-1 triumph (25-20, 25-19, 27-29, 25-13) against St. John Fisher.

Against Oneonta State, sophomore Jamie Ballew (Media, PA) had 27 assists, freshman Meghan Spence (Havertown, PA), notched 10 digs and senior Danielle Wetling (Upper Darby, PA) posted eight kills for Widener (5-3).

Versus St. John Fisher, Ballew closed with 33 assists and 15 digs.  Spence notched 29 digs, senior Devan Green (Monroe Center, IL) had 15 kills and freshman Chelsea Hoeffler (Cranford, NJ) recorded 13 digs.

Widener on Saturday plays RIT at 11:00 am and Brockport at 1:00 pm.  If the squad ends in the top two in its group, it will compete in bracket play at 5:00 pm.
