Widener could not overcome an early deficit at top-ranked Messiah and suffered an 8-0 loss in the Commonwealth Conference Tournament Semifinals in Grantham, PA.

The Falcons (18-0) got three goals from Katie Love, including two in the first 16 minutes for a 2-0 lead.  Kourtney Ehly scored twice, Elizabeth Ziegler had one and Julie Barton dished three assists.

Megan Purcell (Perkasie, PA) made nine saves over 49 minutes and fellow junior Megan Scarpinato (Sewell, NJ) took four shots for the fourth-seeded Pride (11-6), who suffered just their third loss in the last 10 games.
