Widener notched a 3-0 victory (25-22, 25-20, 25-17) over Philadelphia Biblical before a 3-1 loss (16-25, 25-22, 11-25, 17-25) loss to No. 23 Eastern in St. Davids, PA.

Against Philadelphia Biblical, sophomore Jamie Ballew (Media, PA) had 26 assists and freshman Meghan Spence (Havertown, PA) recorded 18 digs for Widener (20-14).  Senior Danielle Wetling (Upper Darby, PA) and sophomore Alectra Edison (Lancaster, CA) had eight kills apiece.

Versus Eastern, Ballew notched 21 assists, Spence had 20 digs and senior Duong Lau (Upper Darby, PA) had 11.  Senior Devan Green (Monroe Center, IL) posted nine digs and Wetling had eight.

The Pride recorded back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time since notching four straight from 1988-91.  It is the team's seventh 20-win season in school history.

Widener, which already has clinched a berth in the Commonwealth Conference Tournament, on Wednesday hosts Arcadia at 7:00 pm.
