Widener received several strong performances and ended its four-match skid with a 3-0 victory (25-19, 25-19, 25-15) over Rowan in Glassboro, NJ.

Sophomore Jamie Ballew (Media, PA) dished 36 assists, freshman Meghan Spence (Havertown, PA) had 20 digs and senior Duong Lau (Upper Darby, PA) added 12 for the Pride (19-13).  Seniors Devan Green (Monroe Center, IL) and Danielle Wetling (Upper Darby, PA) recorded nine kills apiece.

Widener on Saturday plays at the Eastern Tri-Match in St. Davids, PA.  The squad faces Philadelphia Biblical at 1:00 pm and No. 23 Eastern at 3:00 pm.
