Sophomore Jamie Ballew (Media, PA) posted a double-double, leading Widener to a 3-0 Commonwealth Conference triumph (25-20, 25-10, 25-11) over Albright in Reading, PA.

Ballew finished with 23 assists and 12 digs for the Pride (17-9, 4-1 CC).  Seniors Danielle Wetling (Upper Darby, PA) and Devan Green (Monroe Center, IL) recorded nine and seven kills, respectively.  Sophomore Nicole Merton (Media, PA) notched six kills and freshman Angela DiMaria (Warrington, PA) added four kills.  Freshman Meghan Spence (Havertown, PA) had 10 digs.

Danielle Ozment posted nine kills for the Lady Lions (12-11, 1-4).  Lauren Higgins dished 23 assists and Kelly Nicodemus recorded eight digs.

Widener on Friday travels to Elmhurst, IL for the Elmhurst Invitational.  The Pride will face Greensboro at 7:00 pm ET and North Park at 9:00 pm ET.
