Widener suffered a 3-1 loss (16-25, 25-19, 22-25, 12-25) to DeSales before a 3-0 setback (22-25, 21-25, 18-25) to Franklin & Marshall at the DeSales Tri-Match in Center Valley, PA.

Against the home team, senior Danielle Wetling (Upper Darby, PA) had eight kills and no errors with freshman Olivia Wiltraut (Allentown, PA) adding eight kills for Widener (16-9).  Sophomore Alectra Edison (Lancaster, CA) pounded six kills, freshman Meghan Spence (Havertown, PA) had 30 assists and senior Duong Lau (Upper Darby, PA) recorded 28 digs.

Versus F&M, Wetling and freshman Angela DiMaria (Warrington, PA) had seven kills apiece.  Freshman Jamie Ballew (Media, PA) posted 19 assists and Spence had 19 digs.

Widener on Wednesday visits Albright for a Commonwealth Conference match at 1:00 pm.
