Devan Green (Monroe Center, IL) notched her first double-double of the year and fellow junior Julieanne Gryn (Springfield, PA) had 22 digs for Widener in a 3-0 Commonwealth Conference victory (25-16, 25-23, 25-20) over Arcadia in Glenside, PA.

Green ended with 10 kills and 10 digs, helping Widener (12-3, 1-0 CC) record a 45-28 kills edge.  Gryn's digs total is her season-high for a three-set match, enabling the Pride to be on the correct end of a 76-26 margin.

Freshman Jamie Ballew (Media, PA) dished 38 assists, junior Duong Lau (Upper Darby, PA) totaled 13 digs, Rachel Lambert (Glenmore, PA) had 12 kills and fellow freshman Nicole Merton (Media, PA) contributed nine for Widener.

Rachel Glass notched 18 assists, Christina DiMichelle recorded 12 digs and Hailey Barger had nine kills for Arcadia (4-4, 0-1).

Widener is off until next Wednesday, September 24, when it hosts Messiah in another conference tilt at 7:00 pm.
