Widener gave up five first-half goals and was handed a 7-1 Commonwealth Conference loss by seventh-ranked Lebanon Valley at Edith R. Dixon Field.

Jocelyn Novak scored twice in the opening half with Shelly Lobach registering a goal and an assist for Lebanon Valley (15-2, 3-1 CC).  Rachel Pantalone also tallied in the half and Avery Carter netted a penalty stroke.

Carter scored her second goal of the game early in the half with Pantalone also netting her second.  Junior Jackie Elliott (Upper Darby, PA) scored her fifth goal of the season for the Pride (6-9, 1-2).

Alex Wolfe had six shots for the Dutchmen, who posted a 27-6 shots edge.

Sophomore Megan Purcell (Perkasie, PA) had 15 saves for the Pride.

Widener hits the road Saturday to face No. 14 William Paterson at 1:00 pm.
