Junior Jackie Elliott (Upper Darby, PA), sophomore Shannon Fien (Millville, NJ) and freshman Natalie Gifford (Morton, PA) all scored for Widener, which won for the third time in four outings with a 3-2 triumph at Richard Stockton in Pomona, NJ.

Elliott scored in the 14th minute off a feed from junior Jessica Gonzalez (Eastampton, NJ) for a 1-1 tie.  Fien gave Widener (4-6) the lead for good in the 52nd minute with an unassisted tally for a 2-1 margin.

The Pride got an insurance marker in the 62nd minute when Gifford netted her fifth goal of the year off a pass from junior Brittany Dippolito (Pennsauken, NJ).

Jessica Thatcher scored for the Ospreys (1-7) in the ninth minute and Jackie Turner tallied on a penalty stroke with 21 seconds left.

Sophomore Megan Purcell (Perkasie, PA) made five saves for Widener, which ended with a 17-7 shots advantage.

Debi O'Kane stopped 10 shots for Richard Stockton.

Widener on Wednesday hosts nationally ranked Rowan, beginning at 4:00 pm.
