(boxscore)

1/5/08 -- Widener's second-half rally fell short as it was handed a 67-52 loss by Ursinus at the GMC Women's Classic in Gwynedd Valley, PA.

Widener (6-7) went on a 12-2 run spanning 3 1/2 minutes to move to 42-32 with 13:18 remaining. Barbara Fleming (Philadelphia, PA) scored five points in that span and fellow junior Megan Sipple (Boothwyn, PA) added three.

But the Bears (5-5) used a 12-2 spurt of their own to regain their biggest cushion of the second half, 54-34, with 9:29 to go. Sarah Hennessey poured in six points during that span.

Fleming scored 14 points with sophomore Becky Tyler (Wynnewood, PA) adding 14 and seven rebounds for the Pride, who were limited to 29 percent shooting (20-of-68). Sophomore Rayne Reber (Pottstown, PA) grabbed nine rebounds.

Sipple scored nine points and was named to the all-tournament team after netting 14 on Friday against TCNJ.

Carolyn Konstanzer scored 22 points on 10-of-14 shooting, Hennessey netted 17 with Alex Shivers contributing 10 and 11 rebounds for Ursinus, which shot 50 percent (30-of-60) overall.
