9/26/07 -- Widener got back to .500 in the Commonwealth Conference with a 3-0 blanking (30-11, 30-19, 30-19) of Albright in Reading, PA.

Senior Becky Rohrbaugh (Railroad, PA) played solidly with 28 assists and sophomore Julieanne Gryn (Springfield, PA) totaled 14 digs for Widener (9-11, 1-1 CC).

Senior Kim Brady (Pottstown, PA) had nine kills and only three errors over 19 attacks for a .316 hitting percentage. Sophomores Devan Green (Monroe Center, IL) and Danielle Wetling (Upper Darby, PA) had eight kills apiece.

Rohrbaugh and junior Meghan Fitzsimmons (Lancaster, NY) amassed seven digs each for Widener, which posted a 37-25 kills edge.

Jennifer Lynch had seven kills and Keri Wischner added 11 digs for the Lady Lions (2-8, 0-1).

Widener on Saturday takes part in the Muhlenberg Tri-Match in Allentown, PA. The squad faces Dickinson at 2:00 pm and the host at 4:00 pm.
