9/25/07 -- Widener dropped a 3-0 decision (23-30, 18-30, 26-30) at Freedom Conference rival Scranton.

Kim Brady (Pottstown, PA) pounded 13 kills and fellow senior Becky Rohrbaugh (Railroad, PA) had 33 assists for Widener (8-11). Danielle Wetling (Upper Darby, PA) had eight kills and fellow sophomore Julieanne Gryn (Springfield, PA) totaled eight digs.

The Royals (14-4) took control in game two with an 18-9 kills edge and a .371 hitting percentage. Scranton overall enjoyed a 53-33 kills advantage.

Jacqueline Pisano had 17 kills and 25 digs with Jenn McKeighan amassing 49 assists and 10 digs for the Royals. Jaclyn Bromley posted 11 kills and Meaghan Curtin added 22 digs.

Widener on Wednesday visits Albright for a Commonwealth Conference match. First serve in Reading, PA is at 7:00 pm.
