9/21/07 -- Widener suffered a 3-0 loss (18-30, 17-30, 32-34) to Franklin & Marshall before bouncing back for a 3-0 triumph (30-12, 30-14, 30-17) against Lycoming at the Blue Jay Classic in Elizabethtown, PA.

Against Franklin & Marshall, senior Becky Rohrbaugh (Railroad, PA) had 24 assists, sophomore Julieanne Gryn (Springfield, PA) totaled 15 digs and senior Rachel Chizmadia (Saline, MI) added 13 for Widener (7-9).

In the Lycoming match, sophomore Devan Green (Monroe Center, IL) ended with 12 kills and senior Kim Brady (Pottstown, PA) had 10. Rohrbaugh dished 35 assists and Gryn had 13 digs.

Widener on Saturday faces Neumann in its final group play match at 12:00 pm. It then will be in bracket play against either St. Mary's (MD), Swarthmore, Wilkes or Elizabethtown.
