9/11/07 -- Sophomore Devan Green (Monroe Center, IL) pounded 15 kills and senior Becky Rohrbaugh (Railroad, PA) dished 38 assists for Widener in a 3-0 victory (30-14, 30-9, 30-16) over Ursinus at Schwartz Center.

Green had a strong match with just two errors over 30 attacks for a .433 hitting percentage. Rohrbaugh closed with five kills and no errors over nine attacks for a .556 percentage.

Senior Kim Brady (Pottstown, PA) and sophomore Danielle Wetling (Upper Darby, PA) each posted 10 kills for the Pride (4-5), who notched an impressive .323 hitting percentage. Sophomore Julieanne Gryn (Springfield, PA) ended with 22 digs and senior Rachel Chizmadia (Saline, MI) had 12.

Widener finished with a 51-19 kills edge, including 18 kills and a .421 hitting percentage in game two.

Mary Kate Wilmoth had seven kills and 10 digs with Jennifer Fargo contributing 17 assists and 11 digs for the Bears (3-3). Gabrielle Poretta closed with 11 digs.

Widener is home Thursday against Moravian, beginning at 7:00 pm.
