10/4/07 -- Sophomore Devan Green (Monroe Center, IL) had 16 kills and senior Kim Brady (Pottstown, PA) added 15 for Widener in a 3-1 loss (25-30, 30-27, 15-30, 16-30) at DeSales in Center Valley, PA.

Green's and Brady's totals helped Widener (10-13) end with 53 kills, but was not enough to offset 63 kills by DeSales (14-4). The Pride notched 20 kills and only nine errors to win game two.

Senior Becky Rohrbaugh (Railroad, PA) ended with 49 assists and 18 digs with sophomore Julieanne Gryn (Springfield, PA) notching 27 digs for the Pride. Senior Rachel Chizmadia (Saline, MI) had 17 digs and junior Ashley Varallo (Havertown, PA) added 16.

Joann Rivera closed with 16 kills and 11 digs with Sharon Uliana adding 52 assists and 21 digs for DeSales. Jen Mellon had 15 kills and Kylie Fehnel contributed 14 and 13 digs.

Widener on Saturday visits Neumann for a 12:00 pm start.
