Nicole Burt was named the MAC Commonwealth Championship MVP after helping to lead the softball team to its first-ever conference title over the weekend.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Burt singled up the middle to score the eventual game-winning run in the title game against Lebanon Valley. It was just one of two hits for Burt all weekend, but it was the most important one of the season as it clinched the Pride's first-ever conference title and a spot in the NCAA Division III Championship for the first time in program history.
