Freshman Ian Gaynor was named Men's Rookie of the Year at the Middle Atlantic Conference Swimming Championships. He won individual titles in the 100 and 200-yard freestyle and had second-place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle, the 200-yard freestyle relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay. He also broke the MAC record in the preliminaries of the 50-yard freestyle and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships.
