Senior Lil Carney averaged 21.5 points and 5.0 rebounds over two victories last week, shooting 15-of-29 from the floor. Tuesday was her night as she scored 26 points against 10th-ranked Messiah, including the tying layup with 4.2 seconds left in regulation in Widener's 75-69 overtime triumph. Carney came back with 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting Saturday in a rout of Arcadia. She also was named Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week.
