Widener University Athletics

Junior Angela DiMaria had a monster week in which she notched two of the Pride's biggest kills of the season.  Wednesday against Elizabethtown with Widener down 14-13 in the fifth set and a match point against it, DiMaria pounded one home to square the set.  Two points later, DiMaria got another kill to give Widener a 16-14 win in the set.  She ended the week with 34 kills, 50 digs and five aces.  DiMaria also was named Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week.
