Freshman Laura Harris won five championships and was named the Middle Atlantic Conference Most Outstanding Female Swimmer of the Meet and Rookie of the Meet, helping Widener to its second league crown. She captured the 50-yard freestyle, the 100-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly by setting meet records and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in all.
