Brendan Pollick enters his first season as an assistant for the Widener men's basketball team in 2022-23.
Pollick brings D1 coaching experience to the Pride where he served as a graduate assistant at the University of Hartford from 2020-22. While at Hartford, he assisted the Hawks to an American East Championship and a first ever NCAA tournament appearance. Pollick also helped create and execute strategies enhance the team's social media presence and student athlete success.
Prior to Hartford, Pollick spent time coaching at the Kingsway Regional High School where he led the First Year squad and assisted the varsity squad. As head coach, he developed, organized, and strategized the team to execute the team's visions during practices and games. Pollick spent time preparing his student athletes for the college level.
The Sea Isle City native earned his bachelors degree in exercise science from Rowan University in 2018 and his masters in business administration from the University of Hartford in 2022.
