Alex Stremoukhov

Alex Stremouhkov enters his second year with the Pride in 2025-26 as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Stremoukhov returns to the Pride after a couple months working with the Comprehensive Readiness for Aircrew Flying Training (CRAFT) at Laughlin Airforce Base in Texas. From June to August of 2024, Stremoukhov served as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist to prepare the USAF undergraduate pilots for the demands of flight operations, analyzed and modified training based on each individual pilot, and collaborated with nutrition and cognitive performance specialists to ensure three areas of focus were met.

Prior to CRAFT, he was the Pride's Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach from December 2022 to June 2024. During his year and a half with the Pride, Stremoukhov was responsible with working with Widener's student-athletes to enhance their performance in their respective sport and create a better health and fitness approach to help prevent injuries. His primary responsibilities were planning the programs for men's and women's soccer, men's and women's volleyball, men's and women's swimming, baseball, and softball. Stremoukhov also worked closely with the Pride's athletic training staff and each team's coaching staff to ensure all injuries were monitored and an appropriate plan was put into motion for injury prevention. Outside of coaching strength and conditioning, Stremoukhov played a part in Widener Athletics' game day management and operations.

While in college, he worked as a sports performance intern at Penn State University for two years. During his time with Penn State Sports Performance, he worked with men's rugby, swimming and diving as their primary trainer, helped guide athletes through their individual training programs while ensuring the betterment of the student-athletes, and utilized metric tools to provide data to coaches and student-athletes.

Stremoukhov currently holds a strength and conditioning (CSCS), functional movement screening (FMS), and CPR and First Aid certification. He is currently pursuing a certification as a tactical strength and conditioning facilitator.

The Penn State University graduate completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in May of 2021.
