Widener University Athletics

Chuck Butz is in his 14th season as assistant coach at Widener University.

Butz is USATF certified level one and coaches middle distances and hurdles. He competed at Widener from 1995-98, contributing to three Middle Atlantic Conference championships. He was awarded the team’s indoor MVP in 1997-98 and in 1999 was tabbed the MAC Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year.

Butz works as a biochemist/cell biologist at Thomas Jefferson University.  He graduated Widener in 1999 with a degree in Environmental Science.
