USATF Level II Throws Coach
Wilson has recently spent the past two years at Delaware Valley University as the head coach. Since 2021 Wilson has proven his recruiting skills by quadrupling the program's roster size. As the men's and women's head coach, he has taken down 22 Delaware Valley records and has seen five MAC medalists for track and field. During the cross-country season, Wilson led the Aggies to the best finish in the conference at eighth place since 2010. Outside of his coaching duties, Wilson handles game contracts for the Aggies Athletic Department and is a DEI representative.
Prior to his stint at Delaware Valley, he spent 2019-21 at Stevens Institute of Technology as the throws coach and track and field recruiting coordinator. Throughout the three seasons, Wilson developed four All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) qualifiers and assisted in the 2020 MAC Men's Indoor Champions season. Wilson also managed the Diversity & Inclusion Committee through the department.
From 2018-19, Wilson's first coaching years were spent at Utica College as an assistant coach. His primary coaching focus was comprised of the weight and hammer throw athletes. His secondary focus was shot put, discus, and javelin events. The two years were spent collaborating with coaches on practice plans, recruiting, and developing four NCAA National Qualifiers and an All-American in shot put.
The Monmouth University graduate completed his Bachelor of Science in Education and Health Studies in May of 2018. Wilson currently is pursuing his Master's in Health Care Administration from Utica College and is expected to graduate in May of 2024.
