2015-16:Competed in 11 meets as a freshman … Swam in three events at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships (2/12-14), finishing 23rd in the 1,650-yard freestyle in 19:29.52, 29th in the 200 free in 2:01.60 and 33rd in the 500 free in 5:40.77.
High School:Two-year letterwinner in the freestyle at Susquehannock … Won a sportsmanship award and was voted most improved swimmer … Led team to a PIAA Division 3 championship … Had personal-best times of 24 seconds in the 50 free and 54 seconds in the 100 free … Four-year letterwinner as a midfielder and faceoff specialist in lacrosse … Accumulated 12 career goals and 14 assists … Honor roll and distinguished honor roll student … Member of the National Honor Society.
Personal:Majoring in mechanical engineering … Enjoys snowboarding, playing lacrosse and swimming … Plans to become a mechanical engineer after graduation.
Why Did You Choose Widener?“I wanted to come to Widener because of how welcoming the swim team was and how nice the pool facility looked. Other reasons why I picked Widener were because of the smaller class sizes as well as the fact that it was near everything but not too close to the city. Also, I chose to come to Widener because of the co-op programs offered for engineering students.”
