Jim Baer enters his first season as the head men's and women's golf coach at Widener University. He brings more than a quarter century as a PGA professional to the Pride.
Baer has coaching experience as the owner and Director of Instruction for Golfing Life Golf Academy in Kennett Square where he is responsible for private and group lessons, website development and maintenance, and increasing the social media presence of the organization. He was the junior varsity head coach at Devon Prep where he ran the community golf camp and was responsible for the development of the members of the team.
Baer has also been the head professional or teaching professional at several clubs including the Ingleside Golf Club, Bidermann Golf Club, DuPont Country Club, and Florida Golf Learning Center.Â
