Widener University Athletics

Steve Carr is in his second season as an assistant coach for Widener. Carr served as the head coach at Cardinal Dougherty High School from 2006-09. He also was the athletic director and a member of the Catholic League Board of Directors since 2006. He also served as coach for the Catholic League Carpenter Cup Team in 2009. Carr played three seasons of semi-pro ball before entering the Philadelphia Police Academy in 1997. Carr attended both La Salle University and the Community College of Philadelphia, earning his degree in Criminal Justice.
