Jarad Carney enters his first season with the Pride and will serve as the teams' infield insturctor.

Carney spent the last four years as a middle infielder and team captain at nearby Neumann University. He was second on his team in homeruns, while batting .344 with a .496 batting average in his senior season. In 2003, Carney represented Delaware at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
