Biography

As a Junior in 2012-13: All-American in the Weight Throw after placing eighth with a throw of 60’ 0.5”… Won the weight throw at the ECAC’s, the MAC Indoor Championships and the Widener Invitational… Second in the Hammer Throw at the MAC Outdoor Championships… Won the Swarthmore Final Qualifier with a distance of 180’ 2”… Placed 16th at ECAC’s in the Hammer Throw… Competed at the Penn Relays… Third place at the Widener Invitational…

As a Sophomore in 2012: At the Jack Pyrah Invitational (12/2) finished second in the weight throw and first among D-III competitors at 14.43 meters... Took second in the weight throw at the Thompson Invitational (1/28), covering 15.79 meters... Ended third in the hammer throw at 49.21 meters at the MAC Outdoor Championships (5/5).

As a Freshman in 2010-2011: Took fourth place in the shot put at 10.47 meters at the Haverford Holiday Meet (12/11/10) and in the weight throw at 14.11 meters at the Lafayette/Rider Winter Games (2/11/11). Was second in the men’s weight throw at 13.15 meters at the Albright Invitational (2/12/11). Took seventh place overall and second place among D-III athletes in the hammer throw with a throw of 46.87 meters at the Greyhound Invitational (4/17/11).

Sister Christine is Widener Class of 2014 Physical Therapy... Brother Bryan attends Widener and is on the Football and Track & Field teams...
